WHAT I DID

For todays shoot we were told to take photos of anything we'd like at a downward angle. I decided to take photographs of some of the flowers and plants growing in my garden because of their beauty and detail. I shot these flowers from above yet close up (zooming in with my camera), at what you'd call a 'birds eye view' shot. this allowed me to capture all the intricate markings inside the flowers and vertically above them.

INSPIRATION

For inspiration I went onto Pinterest and found the photographer 'Jhon Delapp' who photographs a lot of close up and downward shots of plants and flowers. I loved the brightness and colour in his photos therefore I was drawn into pursuing a similar idea for my shoot.

here's a photo of his that inspired me the most.
