DEPTH OF FIELD

WHAT I DID
For todays shoot we had to take photos involving one of the three photography rules 'depth of field'. I went around my garden and took photos of some ferns and flowers, making sure to zoom in and focus my camera on a specific focal point so the background and perimeter of the photo is blurred; leaving a crisp structured photo which appears more professional than taking photos with everything in focus. To edit these photos I went onto adding more saturation and I even put a filter on it from the app 'VSCO' to make the greens and yellows pop.
INSPIRATION
Todays shoot was inspired by Pinterest. I found some photography of tree ferns and knowing I have them in my garden I thought it would be great idea to get similar green and yellow hue shots of them. I love how these photos have such a seamless blend and the focal point of the leaf stands out. Here are the photos...
