For this shoot I wanted to use colour to symbolise young people and overall the younger generation from children to teenagers. I used certain colours which have connotations of different things. For example, yellow which connotes happiness and energy which is a common personality trait in young people due to their stamina and lack of difficulty in life. I also used pink which has connotations of playfulness and sweetness which younger people such as children have due to their known 'cuteness' and innocence. Lastly, I chose to also project blue because it has connotations of confidence and faith which I personally think many young people have overall in their appearance, attitude and ambition for their future goals which they have faith for and fight for. for example, many young people (teenagers) have a wider understanding on life's problems such as the lack of equality and fairness due to the constant updates and opinions of others being shared on social media platforms which are mostly used by the younger generation.
