WHAT I DID

For todays shoot I decided to go around my garden and house to take photos of textual elements. I made sure to zoom my camera in close to details and parts that contained the most texture. I mostly took photos of natural forms such as moss and wood because the grains and details vary resulting in good textual shots. To edit these photos I increased the sharpness and clarity all the way and put more of a green/ golden tint to make the lighting advanced. This worked well because it enhanced the texture and crevices I was photographing.

INSPIRATION

For todays shoot I found a poem written by Linda Winchell which explains different textures. this inspired me to photograph both soft and rough textual elements and made it have meaning to me.

here the poem
